Blitz GT is a 4v4 competitive multiplayer racing game with vehicular combat.
My main roles were developing the code architecture and online multiplayer. Blitz GT uses dedicated servers and is server authoritative. I used Netcode for GameObjects and because the game relies heavily on realistic vehicle collisions, the client-side prediction and reconciliation were custom-built.
The game also features matchmaking and a ranked game mode with a battle pass, which I helped develop.
Players can choose between characters, each with their own unique skills, which I also helped prototype and develop.
I was in charge of the build pipeline, making sure the team could iterate and test new features as fast as possible.
